LG Introduces Multi F and Multi F MAX Single-phase Outdoor Units

    Jan. 18, 2016
The Multi F MAX uses refrigerant piping to reach each indoor unit instead of air ducts
LG’s Multi F and Multi F MAX are single phase, compact and efficient outdoor units that provide zone control for up to eight indoor units. The units are available in 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 4.5 and 5 tons, increasing flexibility and efficiency for residential installations.

The Multi F MAX uses refrigerant piping to reach each indoor unit instead of air ducts, to help reduce overall installation and materials costs as well as improve performance. By reducing costs, the Multi F MAX allows designers increased flexibility in creating efficient concepts. This flexibility is extended indoors, as the Multi F MAX is compatible with LG’s Art Cool Mirror, award-winning Art Cool Gallery and standard wall-mounted indoor models, giving home and business owners a variety of options to customize their designs.

To ensure smooth operation for users, the Multi F MAX units use a variable speed compressor, which operates more quietly and uses less energy than conventional air conditioners. Additionally, the Multi F MAX’s compressor is mounted on vibration attenuating rubber grommets to avoid transmissions of vibrations to ensure the noise level is as low as possible.

Finally, it boasts year-round heating and cooling capabilities, featuring a jet-cool/heat mode, which quickly provides cool or warm air indoors as needed. This provides excellent flexibility and customizability to ensure comfort regardless of season. Paired with the small space requirement and ease of installation, LG’s Multi F MAX 60 K is an innovative solution that can be used in a wide variety of residential projects.
