The HY-EX-6 uses hydraulic power. This lightweight expander makes a perfect swage of soft copper and aluminium tubing with only a few pumps. The 120-degree angle head requires less power to pump and provides a natural wrist angle. Thanks to the hydraulic mechanism and the quick release thumb button, this tool can be operated single-handedly. The laser-engraved expander heads can quickly be identified and exchanged. They fit most common HVACR imperial size copper tubing. Rough edges or burrs can easily be removed with the included heavy duty
deburring tool, RFA-209-STYLO-HD prior to expanding the tube. Another benefit is the compact pistol shape which allows it to fit into the smallest and hard to reach spots. This tool is also compatible with most manual and hydraulic expander systems already on the market.
