Daikin Applied announced a 2 to 5 percent price increase on all applied and unitary commercial equipment, effective Dec. 19.
Ingersoll Rand’s Residential HVAC strategic business unit today announced a price increase of up to 5 percent on select residential and light commercial HVAC equipment for Trane, American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning and Ameristar equipment. Sources reported the price increase is effective Jan. 1, 2017 and is due in part to the increased cost of regulatory compliance and finished goods conversion costs.
Johnson Controls announced a price increase of up to 5 percent on unitary residential and light commercial products and accessories that will be implemented by the end of 2016. This includes, but is not limited to, the YORK®, Coleman®, Luxaire®, Champion®, Guardian®, Source One™ and Fraser-Johnston® Unitary Products Group brands. UTC Climate, Controls & Security, which manufactures products under the Carrier, Bryant, Payne and ICP brand names, announced a price increase of up to 5 percent on residential and commercial heating, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment. It will take effect Jan. 1, 2017.
