If you know what to look for, a visual inspection provides clues to unsafe operation. It's never good for one package unit to exhaust into the economizer of an adjacent unit.

Enterprise Fleet Management Wins Business Innovation Award

    July 8, 2013
Enterprise Fleet Management, a full service fleet management company for businesses with medium size fleets, received an American Business Award for Best New Product and Product Management. The bronze Stevie Award recognized Enterprise Fleet Management for helping customers reduce expenses and improve efficiencies by creating innovative, custom-tailored solutions that leverage the extensive resources of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car network and its affiliated brands.
Enterprise Fleet Management's CarShare program uses shared leased vehicles. A key card system tracks vehicle use. Aging vehicles are replaced by new vehicles, which are used and paid for only as needed.

The bronze Stevie Award recognized Enterprise Fleet Management for helping customers reduce expenses and improve efficiencies by creating innovative, custom-tailored solutions that leverage the extensive resources of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car network and its affiliated brands.

“As many businesses, government agencies and institutions look for ways to make best use of limited resources, Enterprise is providing innovative vehicle management solutions,” said Steve Bloom, President of Enterprise Fleet Management. “Our success is based on more than 55 years experience in driving value for our customers in both the private and the public sectors.”

As an example, Enterprise Fleet Management helped the City of Loveland, Colorado save more than $300,000 by taking advantage of other Enterprise options including Enterprise CarShare, a popular alternative to committing long-term to a vehicle. The city replaced about 40 aging sedans, pickups and vans with 15 shared vehicles leased from Enterprise Fleet Management. Vehicles in the pool may be reserved online for a few hours or a few days and the system automatically charges the employee’s budget for the vehicle’s use, based on time and mileage.

According to the fleet manager for the City of Loveland, the shared motor pool enables the City to reduce overhead, maintenance and insurance expenses while providing safe, reliable and fuel efficient transportation for the City employees who use these vehicles. The motor pool program also is helping to make city government more efficient and effective, both economically and environmentally.

The Stevie Awards comprise several of the business world’s leading awards programs, including the prestigious American Business Awards and International Business Awards.  More than 3,000 nominations from various industries were submitted for the 11th Annual American Business Awards.

Last year, Enterprise Fleet Management was recognized with Stevie Awards for Best New Product or Service of the Year in Transportation, a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Product or Service, and for Innovation in Customer Service. Previous Stevie Awards received by Enterprise Fleet Management have included Environmental Responsibility Program of the Year 2009, which recognized the company for implementing an aggressive set of programs and initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of customers’ vehicles, and Best Support Organization 2006 for exceptional teamwork serving customers and employees in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
