Belimo, Trane to Collaborate on Building Technology

Belimo Americas, Danbury, CT, producers of electronic valves and air damper actuators, has struck an agreement with Trane, for a private brand of actuators and valves.
The goal of the collaboration: improved system performance and energy savings.
According to Belimo, damper actuators and control valves represent two-thirds of the points of control in most HVAC systems. Actuators and valves are used for energy consumption, comfort, installation, life-cycle costs and safety.
