Ankeny to Guide Supply Chain at Bristol Compressors

Bristol Compressors International, Inc., a leading global producer of compressors for use in air conditioning, heat pump and refrigeration systems, has named Lewis Ankeny vice president of supply chain.
 
Ankeny will oversee purchasing, planning and supplier cost productivity. His responsibilities also include the promotion of lean manufacturing, as well as improving execution systems and best practices throughout the company.
 
“Lewis has a very broad background in supply chain throughout various manufacturing environments,” says Ed Gniewek, CEO of Bristol Compressors. “His experience and capability make him an outstanding addition to our executive team.”
 
Ankeny joins Bristol Compressors with more than 30 years’ experience in supply chain management. He most recently served as director of supply chain at Terex Corporation, an American manufacturer of heavy equipment for a variety of industries. His extensive career has also included service with BorgWarner, Intel and Honeywell.
 
A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ankeny holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and a master’s of business administration and economics from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, located in Odessa, Texas.
