    WAGO Names Regional Sales Managers and a Sales/Applications Engineer

    Jonathan Gabel, Robb Perez and Jeffrey Govek are new to the WAGO team.

    Germantown, WI—July 2022— Jonathan Gabel has been hired by WAGO as the new regional sales manager in Northwest Texas and Oklahoma. 

    WAGO produces a wide variety of building automation controllers, switches and wireless devices. 

    Gabel was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he still resides, Gabel graduated from Northeastern State University and began his career in sales at Ernie Graves Company before moving to Vector Controls, where he would eventually rise to the role of district manager.

    At WAGO, Gabel hopes to bring his experience and work for a great team. 

    “One thing that stands out is everyone within WAGO has said ‘this is a great place to work’ and that we are ‘lucky to be here,’” he says. “This is more than confirming and I hope to add to the impact this atmosphere can have and make that relatable to our customers.”

    up in the Chicago suburbs, Robb was fascinated with how products were assembled and consistently brought to life.  After earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, Perez worked in sales at Schneider Electric before moving on to Omron Automation where he took on the role of account manager.WAGO has hired Jeffrey Govek its new senior sales and application engineer.

    After receiving his degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tulsa, he got his MBA from Methodist University.  Govek, now based in the Dallas area, has worked in the oil and gas, printing and IoT industries. He also ran his own automation consulting company for many years prior to joining WAGO. 

    “As a prior customer of WAGO and automation products, I feel that I can help demonstrate the value that WAGO brings to existing and future customers,” says Govek. “I’m excited to be at a growing company with great products and great people.”
