Nearly 400 contractors and spouses met in Indianapolis May 24 - 27, courtesy of Bryant Heating & Cooling for the latest installment of the Indianapolis 500. Bryant has sponsored entries in nearly half of the 86 Indianapolis 500 racing spectacles since the race’s inception. In recent years, Bryant dealers have been Bryant’s guests for a weekend of business and racing excitement. Saturday morning meeting highlights included new product introductions, the Factory Authorized Dealer (FAD) program, and a keynote address from Contracting Business Publisher Alex Carney. In addition to an array of new thermostats added to the Bryant line, the launch of a new platform of 80% AFUE gas furnaces captured the most attention. A select group of Bryant dealers had contributed to the planning and design of the new furnace series to ensure its appropriateness for the market. The FAD program unveiled at the event encompasses customer satisfaction requirements, NATE certification requirements, and special marketing program benefits. A goal of the program is to sign up 300 dealers in the program and then promote FAD to consumers. Bryant driver Al Unser Jr. was a guest speaker at Friday’s opening reception and dinner. Unser commented, “This is the first time I’ve had a sponsor with a product that actually helps people, rather than potentially harms them.” More information on Bryant products and programs is available at www.Bryant.com .
