SMACNA Donates $10,000 To ASHRAE Research

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA), Chantill, VA, has presented a $10,000 contribution to the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' (ASHRAE) Research Foundation.

SMACNA has designated this money to support ASHRAE research project "Underfloor Air Distribution - Life Cycle Cost and Environmental Analysis," and has encouraged its local chapters to support this project also.

An original member of the ASHRAE Gold Circle, SMACNA has contributed $110,000 over 11years since the club's formation.
