The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) recently awarded educational scholarships to deserving students planning for a career in the oil heating industry. The scholarships were established to honor David Nelsen, a Long Island, NY, full-service fuel dealer who was instrumental in the growth of Oilheat education programs throughout the industry.
The scholarships were awarded during the association's 53rd Annual Convention Trade Show held in Hartford, Connecticut, May 14-18.
Schloarship winners are:
Shawn Wasielewski, Easton, PA, who currently attends Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA.
Korbin Martz, Millersburg, PA. Korbin will be attending York Technical Institute, York, PA this fall.
Robert Arnold, Lincoln, ME. Robert is studying heating at Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, ME, with a 3.98 GPA.
Bryan Cole, Caribou, ME, a senior at Northern Maine Community College.
Visar Djongalic, Yonkers, NY, a student at Saunders Technical School.
Daniel Auciello, Jr., Holtsville, NY, currently in his sixth semester at SUNY Maritime College.
Mark Hunsicker, Lansdale, PA received the Delavan Spray Technology Award. Mark plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology in the fall.
