Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., is seeking speakers for the 2008 Global Engineering Conference, April 9-11, 2008, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV.
The conference, co-sponsored by Heating Piping Air Conditioning (HPAC) Engineering Magazine, will feature the theme “Designing and Building for Sustainability,” and will include presentations on new technology and engineering in the HVAC industry.
The conference was initiated in 1992 in Washington, D.C., and was held in various North American cities each year through 2000. The 2008 conference will be the first one in eight years, and more than 800 global consulting and design engineers are expected to attend.
Carrier Corp. will provide speakers with coach travel and lodging as well as an honorarium for their participation. Potential speakers must submit a biography and an abstract of their presentation by July 13. For speaker submissions or questions, please e-mail [email protected].
