Quality Service Contractors (QSC) members discussed the importance of ethical practices during its summer “Power Meeting” in Washington, D.C.
Speakers explored best practices and guidelines to help companies operate in a correct and fair manner, and members shared ideas with other contractors in a new small shop roundtable discussion.
The event included a tour of the White House, and a golf tournament sponsored by Hodes Co., to benefit Challenge Air, an avitation program for physically challenged children. More than $12,000 was raised during the outing, brining the total amount raised by QSC for Challenge Air to $92,000 during eight Power Meetings.
The next Power Meeting will be March 6-8, 2008, in Palm Springs, CA.
QSC is an enhanced service group of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC-NA).
