Direct Energy, Stamford, CT has agreed to acquire Residential Services Group (RSG).
Direct Energy is part of the Centrica group of companies, a multi-state provider of deregulated retail energy services. Centrica has approximately 5 million customers in North America.
RSG, headquartered in Dayton, OH provides HVAC and plumbing services to the residential and light commercial markets. The privately owned company operates 27 locations in 12 states.
