Embraco, a manufacturer of hermetic compressors for refrigeration, and the Chinese group, Snowflake, have opened a factory in Beijing, China, the culmination of a joint-venture started in 1995.
Together, the companies invested $65 million to build the plant.
The new factory is located in the Beijing industrial district, and will be dedicated to the production of the new low-energy consuming, low-noise EM compressor.
