Lennox International has announced a realignment of its heating and cooling business segments leadership and internal reporting structure.
Lennox says the realignment will further enhance its business focus and agility in its commercial and residential businesses.
Harry Bizios — currently vice president and general manager of Lennox Worldwide Commercial Systems — has been named president and chief operating officer of Lennox's Commercial Heating and Cooling Division.
Doug Young — currently vice president and general manager of North American Residential Products — has been named president and chief operating officer of Lennox's Residential Cooling and Heating Division.
Both men will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Bob Schjerven.
"The leadership realignment will allow us to further increase our focus on our commercial and residential businesses," says Schjerven.
"This increased focus will make it possible for us to be more agile in responding to specific and widely varying customer needs, and to aggressively exploit new business opportunities as they develop." Bizios began his career with Lennox in 1976, Young in 1999.
Bob McDonough will transition out of his post as president and chief executive officer of LII Heating and Cooling.
"We sincerely appreciate Bob McDonough's many important contributions to LII during his 16-year career with us, including directing our industry-leading transition to the 13 SEER energy efficiency standard, effectively integrating many key marketing, research, and engineering functions across our various heating and cooling brands, and helping to improve our financial performance," says Schjerven. "As he leaves us to pursue opportunities in line with his personal career goals, we certainly wish him well."
