John Cahill, project architect at KAI Design and Build, St. Louis, MO, recently passed the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Registration Exam.
Cahill has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, and the LEED Rating System, and is now a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). This accrediation distinguishes building professionals who possess the knowledge and skills needed to successfully work within the LEED certification process. More than 43,000 people have earned the credential since the Professional Accreditation program was launched in 2001.
Cahill began his career at KAI Design and Build 17 years ago and has served in various roles, primarily providing architecture and construction administration. He is a registered architect in Missouri and a certified construction document technologist through the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
KAI Design and Build is aggressively pursuing LEED accrediation for its entire technical staff to better serve its clients.
