Mitsubishi has expanded on the ground and online.

To support its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating has opened an expanded Western business unit sales office and state-of-the-art training center in Irvine, CA. The new facility is twice the size of the previous Irvine facility.

Online, Mitsubishi has established a new online Creative Center, where Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractors can easily create brand-approved marketing tools for their company’s use. The Irvine Training Center officially opens on March 26, with training classes beginning March 27. The center will host an open house celebration on May 1, 2012, for visitors.

The western business unit sales office and training center encompasses 11,000 sq.ft., to accommodate its expanding sales force. About 4,200 sq.ft. is dedicated space for Mitsubishi Electric’s training programs, including hands-on service and field courses for Mitsubishi Electric’s residential, light commercial and commercial product lines, as well as application workshops. Several classes are offered in both English and Spanish.

The space contains demonstration equipment with fully functioning models of Mitsubishi Electric’s product offerings, as well as high-tech computer and audio/visual equipment, to ensure hands-on interactive training for students. Additional space will be used as an office for the Mitsubishi Electric western business unit sales team.

“The opening of the new Irvine Training Center exemplifies Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to growth by providing our sales team and customers with high-quality facilities and the best training and information possible,” says Bud Nardello, vice president of sales, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. The Irvine Training Center is a convenient destination for contractors, engineers and distributors who want to participate in training courses or hold sales meetings. In addition, Mitsubishi Electric’s service training program is a registered provider for North American Technician Excellence (NATE) recertification. Mitsubishi Electric training centers are also located in the Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Ohio areas.
