The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) reports that 11 new contractors have qualified for MSCA STAR status. MSCA STAR is a national qualification program which honors companies who meet or exceed stringent operating and training standards set by MSCA.
To become a STAR contractor, companies must complete a detailed application which covers a wide range of criteria, including employing the best trained and most qualified workforce, maintaining a superior safety record, offering outstanding customer service, and focusing on continuing education and training for all employees.
The newest MSCA member contractors to become STAR-qualified are: AMI Services, Inc. - Waldwick, NJ Goyette Mechanical Co., Inc. - Flint, MI Linc Mechanical - Woburn, MA McKenney's Inc. - Atlanta, GA Monsen Engineering Company - Fairfied, NJ RECCO - Woburn, MA S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. - Barberton, OH Temperature Engineering Corp. - Sterling Heights, MI The Fagan Company, an EMCOR Company - Kansas City, KS Total Maintenance, Inc. - Bettendorf, IA Wolin & Associates, Inc. - West Des Moines, IA The 11 new STAR contractors join 18 additional MSCA members to have qualified for STAR this year. Twenty-eight of the 2006 STAR-qualified companies were recognized at the recent MSCA national conference in Charleston, SC.
