Winner of wholesaler/contractor promotion wins Pro Bowl tickets

Armstrong Limited — Canada-based suppliers of high-efficiency HVAC and fluid-handling equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, and announced the grand prize winner of the Armstrong fall promotion.
Samuel Allan Armstrong founded the company in 1934 in the midst of The Great Depression. From there, under the leadership of James A.C. Armstrong, Samuel’s son, the company grew from one manufacturing facility to include plants around the world. James Armstrong established the future direction of the company by investing in new technologies and expanding the company into new markets. In 1990, James passed the company to his two sons, Charles and Jim Armstrong.
In 1969, Armstrong was one of the first to offer the vertical in-line pump. In 1997, Armstrong was among the first to introduce sensorless pump control.
Among the company's recent developments are the ECO:nomics sustainability platform and design envelope solutions.
Armstrong will be celebrating the anniversary with special events to be held around the world.
Leroy Wright, Desco Plumbing & Heating, Etobicoke, Ontario, is the grand prize winner of the "It’s Time" wholesaler and contractor promotion. Wright received an all-expenses paid trip to Honolulu, HI, and tickets for the NFL Pro Bowl Game.
The promotional campaign was open to all Armstrong wholesalers and contractors in North America.
