Ezy Flush Introduces Air Conditioner Drain Line Cleanout Tool

The Ezy Flush cleanout tool is a machine tooled, high grade PVC valve. It isolates the flow of air directly to the clogged drain line, for quick removal of clogs.

Its unique design works with a standard PVC tee, and can be used either vertically or horizontally to clean out air conditioning condensate drain lines. According to company sources, the compact design allows users to access tight spaces or awkward angles. It has a 1/4-in. threaded opening to give the technician the flexibility to use a wide range of propellant options. It comes ready to go with a 1/4-in. brass flare fitting, which facilitates CO2 or nitrogen, but can be adapted to air compressor or garden hose fittings. Ezyflush.com circle 148

Tamarack Technologies Launches Innovative Dream Aire 5000®

Tamarack Technologies has unveiled the Dream Aire 5000®, a ventilation system for improving indoor air quality(IAQ). This new weapon against the anticipated flu pandemic premiered at the HVAC industry's HVAC Comfortech 2009 conference in September. The Dream Aire 5000® offers an innovative combination of air purification and bacteria-killing capability through the use of an electrostatic precipitation process (ESP) with a cleansing efficiency of 95%, company sources say.

The Dream Aire 5000® also serves as an energy and heat recovery system with a heat exchange rate of no less than 75%, constantly moving air in and out of the home, classroom or office. Energy of exhausted air is retained in the unit's exchanger while fresh air is treated to ensure a consistent temperature. A thermostat inside the unit recognizes the temperature of incoming fresh air and heats it when the temperature is lower than 55 or 65F. Tamech.com circle 151

COMFORTECH PRODUCT SHOWCASE AWARD

At HVAC Comfortech 2008, 15 products were recognized as Product Showcase Award winners. Bring the Comfort of Outdoor Air Inside with Arzel's CoolMizer™

Arzel Zoning Technology introduces CoolMizer, the first all-in-one, economizer/fresh air intake system designed for residential and light commercial package and split systems. It features built-in sensors to measure outdoor temperature and humidity providing control based upon adjustable decision points.

CoolMizer uses Damper2tm technology - the only dual purpose damper designed to provide both the benefits of free air conditioning and ventilation. This innovative damper is actually two dampers in one, each controlled individually as required. The large damper supplies the large volume of air required to condition a home using outside air, while the small damper provides minimum ventilation requirements. Depending upon the application, two separate dampers may also be controlled by CoolMizer.
