Mr. Thompson Matambo has been promoted to the position of Director of Engineering for Marvair. Thompson will be responsible for all Engineering functions including product design, safety and performance certifications and will be Marvair’s technical representative to AHRI. He will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Cordele, GA.
Thompson is a twenty-five year veteran of the HVAC industry, having worked for several of the premiere manufacturers including Whirlpool, ICP, Carrier and, most recently York. He received a BS and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University. In addition, he has an MBA and is the recipient of five patents in HVAC design.
