York International, Norman, OK has released its new Liberties program, which incorporates incentives for businesses that employ technicians certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE). Although specifics vary, businesses with NATE-certified technicians may receive as much as $10 per hour extra when a NATE-certified technician performs warranty work.

York has also donated HVAC units and products to all 14 state vocational schools in Oklahoma. In order to receive the equipment, the schools must participate in PAHRA (Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation) —and all 14 schools have begun the registration process for PAHRA. When this process is complete, Oklahoma will be the first state to have all of its vocational schools PAHRA accredited.
