Haberberger, Inc., Affton, MO, recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. The family-owned commercial HVAC business is one of the largest mechanical contractors in the St. Louis area, in terms of annual revenue.

Founded in 1948, Haberberger had become a $6 million company by 1987. It now employs more than 200 people, and has reached $56 million in annual revenues.

“The company's growth has accelerated over the past 20 years because we have excellent union workers supported by a great team at the office, and everyone shares the commitment to the customer,” says Joe Haberberger, who represents the company's second generation. He worked at Haberberger for 38 years before retiring as president in 1997.

Haberberger expanded from its small home repair and refrigeration roots into a commercial refrigeration provider, and then an air conditioning service provider, before adding industrial and commercial piping work. Today, the company is under the leadership of the Haberberger brothers: Neil, president), Mark vice president, service, and Steve vice president, operations. haberbergerinc.com
