Lauren Roberts, president/CEO of cfm Distributors, Inc., Kansas City, issued the following statement regarding cfm policies now in place during the Coronavirus pandemic.

"Due to the current risks surrounding the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to share what we are doing at all cfm locations for the health and safety of your teams and our team.

  • We are OPEN for business and we are well stocked and staffed to fulfill your HVACR needs as usual!
  • All sales counters and work areas are being disinfected regularly throughout the day. We also have hand sanitizers available for use throughout our locations.
  • We are asking that customers and cfm employee owners maintain at least 6 feet between themselves for the health and safety of everyone.
  • Any cfm employee owners who have been exposed to or are displaying symptoms of the Coronavirus Covid-19 are required to stay at home. If they begin displaying symptoms while at work, they will be sent home immediately and their work area will be disinfected right away.
  • We have reduced face-to-face sales calls and jobsite visits to a minimum and will only make those calls and visits in special case and emergency scenarios.
  • We have cancelled all in person cfm dealer meetings and will be announcing the date, time and access info for our virtual dealer meeting in the near future.
  • We have cancelled all cfm service schools/technical training for the spring season.
  • We have encouraged our employee owners who are able to work remotely to do so. They are readily available by phone and email to serve your needs. We continue to monitor the situation and will keep you updated with any other changes as needed."
