Thursday, April 2 - Basic refrigeration Part 2 (Troubleshooting refrigerant issues) -This course will review the importance of using superheat and sub-cooling to identify refrigerant issues. We will review the common identifiers for the most common refrigerant issues
Tuesday, April 7 - Basic Electrical part 1-This course will review the basics of electricity theory including electrical circuits, the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. Meter usage and testing circuits will be included.
Thursday, April 9 - Basic Electrical part 2 -This course will cover using electrical diagrams to determine the sequence of operation of a system and how to use the electrical diagram for troubleshooting electrical issues
Tuesday, April 14 - Airflow Part 1 (Types of Motor, Set Up and Troubleshooting) -This course will cover the different types of motors and their operating characteristics. How to select the correct fan speed for heating and cooling applications. How to troubleshoot PSC and ECM motors
Thursday, April 16 - Air Flow Part 2 (Troubleshooting Air Flow Issues) -This course will focus on using fan performance charts and ESP to troubleshoot air flow issues.
Tuesday, April 21 - Charging Ruud Non Inverter systems -This course will focus on the charging procedure for RUUD Non-Inverter air conditioning and heat pump systems
Thursday, April 23 - Charging RUUD Inverter systems -This course will focus on the charging procedure for RUUD Inverter air conditioning and heat pump systems
Tuesday, April 28 - Basic Mitsubishi Electrical - This course will be focusing on the basic electrical flow through Mitsubishi M&P series equipment. The function of each component and the voltage measurements required for basic troubleshooting.
Thursday, April 30 - Troubleshooting MXZ branch box system with Maintenance tool -This class will review the refrigerant circuits of the MXZ Branch Box Systems. The focus of this class will be on interpretation and deciphering the information displayed on the Mitsubishi Service Tool to troubleshoot these systems.Tuesday, May 5 - Intro to LG RLC electrical -This course will be focusing on the basic electrical flow through LG’s RLC equipment. The function of each component and the voltage measurements required for basic troubleshooting.
Thursday, May 7 - LGMV Basics (how to connect a laptop, save data and send data)This course will review the setup, connection to a system, recording data and emailing saved files using LG’s LGMV software and a laptop. This class is a MUST for anyone working on LG systems.
