1962: A “Pay as You Go” installation contract was helping Tony's Refrigeration, Kalamazoo, MI, provide quality air conditioning to Lakeview General Hospital, Battle Creek, MI on a step-by-step basis. The board of trustees decided on a master plan, which included ideal air conditioning requirements. The plan was implemented in segments to meet each year's budget. Tony's team was confident enough to install ductwork and other accessories that would be used later, when the hospital was able to foot the bill.
