An annual refrigeration industry event is underway in Chongqing, China, 1100 miles southwest of Beijing. Sources report the event has been staged with attention to pandemic prevention protocols. The 31st International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage (China Refrigeration Expo 2020 for short), is being presented at the Chongqing International Expo Center.
Sources reported that 500 companies of small to medium size and institutions from eight countries participated in the exposition. The event featured one "theme forum" and 17 symposiums and exhibits over an area of 538,000 square feet, featuring various technological innovations. The event includes a Building Information Modeling exhibition to describe trends in prefabricated buildings.
The live event is supplemented by an online broadcast for persons unable to attend, with multi-dimensional promotion channels for exhibitors.
