Company news release, with additional reporting by Terry McIver
FieldPulse, a job management application for the trades and field service management (FSM) industry, recently announced a slate of new and enhanced products and features.
FieldPulse is a premium field service management app trusted by trade service businesses around the world. Designed and built to provide industry professionals with an easy-to-use system for all their day-to-day business operations, FieldPulse ensures service business employees that they will have the digital tools they need to be successful.
New features since the product's initial offering in 2018 include FieldPulse Payments, while completely new products include FieldPulse Premium, Pricebook and GPS Tracking.
These new products and features give service businesses an even more comprehensive experience when using the FieldPulse app, layering on top of FieldPulse’s already robust feature set. FieldPulse CEO, Gabriel Pinchev, says, “FieldPulse is leading the charge in innovative product development for the trades. With these new offerings, we continue our march toward becoming the best end-to-end FSM solution on the market today.”Sarah Maschoff, director of brand marketing, told Contracting Business that Pinchev was inspired to design a more affordable job management solution after dealing with a contractor for a home project, who only had pen and ink to complete the invoicing.
"He thought, 'There must be a better way for contractors to do that,'" Maschoff said. "We know trades people have a sense of pride in what they do and how they do it, and that's just not a good way to conclude a business transaction. That was his inspiration for creating FieldPulse. He also realized how expensive some of these services can be, and that many contractors are unable to afford high monthly payments [for software programs]."
A key FieldPulse feature is its affordability, for a target audience of contracting businesses of about 100 or fewer employees.
"We're trying to find the market that is underserved by more expensive offerings," Maschoff said. "We are the premium solution for smaller firms, looking to grow and utilize these technologies."
Maschoff added that existing FieldPulse customers appreciate its invoicing and customer relationship management system, that allows them to send 'on my way' texts and follow-up emails.
"But our biggest claim to fame is our customer service. It is by far the best in the industry," Maschoff said. "We like to say 'you're more than a number,' and we're an extension of your business. Customer success representatives are available any business day during business hours. We also have chat. You don't have to wait three days for a response. Even from a jobsite, you can get in touch with Autumn, who helps you out so that the day isn't completely stalled."

Financing Assistance by Wisetack
FieldPulse has also formed a partnership with Wisetack, a consumer financing platform built to help businesses thrive by facilitating real-time consumer lending at the point of sale.
This new partnership with Wisetack will allow FieldPulse users to offer consumer-friendly financing to their customers without ever leaving the FieldPulse app.
“Wisetack consumer financing will provide FieldPulse users with a quick and easy option to offer financing to their customers, helping them win more jobs. Adding Wisetack to our offering is another step in providing a complete all-in-one solution for our customers to grow their business,” said Pinchev.

Once activated via the FieldPulse app, service customers will have a fast and painless way to finance emergency repairs or more expensive projects. Customers can select from up to six payment plans to break up the cost of any job between $500 and $25,000.
