    HVACR MANUFACTURERS: Please. Send. Good. Photos.

    Our editorial goals and those of manufacturers are better realized when a quality photo of a product is provided along with text.

    Attention, HVACR manufacturers: 

    Somewhere along the way, it was no longer considered helpful to provide product photos to HVACR editors. Not so.

    We want to publicize your products, but we prefer to receive news that has a quality photo included. This should ideally be a jpeg photo that is a minimum 300 dpi (dots per inch) of resolution. 

    Please don't think sending a giagantic photo embedded into the email is just as good. It's not.

    The same goes for trade shows. Please provide USB drives. There is no risk. QR codes only link to low resolution photos. 

    Please notify your PR agencies of this, as well as your marketing . .
