Emerson Climate Technologies has appointed Ram Krishnan to the position of President, Emerson Climate Technologies Refrigeration. Krishnan previously served with Emerson Process Management, where he most recently served as president of the company’s Liquid Analytical Division. He will assume his new role effective on November 12.
“Right now is a very exciting time within our refrigeration business. In his role as president, Ram will oversee our continued expansion into new markets, as well as an expansion on the product level into new and unique applications,” said Ed Purvis, Emerson group vice president, Emerson Climate Technologies, Refrigeration. “We’re pleased to have a proven leader in Ram to help us navigate this time of great growth in our refrigeration business.”
Krishnan joined Emerson Process Management in 1994. He holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
