Manifold Gauge Sets Provide Improved Vision, Control
The new Firefly and Vision manifold gauges from Cliplight Manufacturing Co., Toronto, Canada, gives technicians increased vision and control when performing system diagnostics, charging, recovery, and evacuation. The Vision model has a see-through deep well sight glass that's illuminated by ambient light for better viewing of refrigerant and contaminants. The Firefly (shown at right) combines a magnifying glass on the front of the sight glass, with white or blue LED backlighting, to illuminate refrigerant, contaminants, and dye. A vinyl-coated hanger stays where you hang it. Ergonomic, heavy-duty valve handles have calibration rings. Fine throttle control valves are used for liquid charging of blended refrigerants.
