Cleveland, Oh. May 16, 2016 Penton’s ContractingBusiness.com has presented Memphis Mechanical Services, Inc., with its 2016 Commercial Refrigeration Contractor of the Year Award.

Founded by career refrigeration expert Richard Luhm in 2001, Memphis Mechanical Services was so successful, so fast, that it was incorporated three months after its founding, and had to move to a larger, 15,000 sq.ft. location in 2011. Additionally, since 2012, MMS has also been doing business in Little Rock, Ark., as Two Rivers Mechanical.Over the past 15 years, Luhm (pronounced ‘loom’) and his team of service specialists have applied their diverse skills to meet a wide range of needs in the Memphis region’s commercial refrigeration industry. Its skilled management team has an average of 15 years experience in commercial
refrigeration, and is fully customer-focused.

“The people at Memphis Mechanical are like family. We truly care about each other and we all share a common belief that the customer is why we are here,” Luhm says. “Everything we do is done in a way that helps the customer realize the value in having their equipment serviced by professionals that care. That’s what makes it so great — we all believe it,” he says.

Of its 35 employees, 27 technicians are dedicated to providing the best service and installation of many types of commercial refrigeration systems, including supermarkets, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, blood plasma storage, and food and drug distribution centers.
