Arkema/Daikin Production Facility Opens in China
Arkema Daikin Advanced Fluorochemicals Co., Ltd. (ADAF) has begun operation in Changshu, Jiangsu province, China. The joint venture company of Arkema S.A., Colombes, France, and Daikin Industries, Ltd., Osaka, Japan, has recently started full-scale production in China of HFC-125. The facility is expected to ease some of the strain on global demand for R-125, a crucial component used in many HVACR refrigerants, including R-410A and R-507

Refrigerants including R-125 will be sold globally in Asia and Oceania through Daikin Arkema Refrigerants Asia, Ltd, and also in Japan, Europe, and the U.S through Daikin and Arkema.
