Blue Corona to Offer FREE Marketing Videos to HVAC Companies Onsite at Comfortech 2015

Aug. 11, 2015
Videos give HVAC companies the opportunity to maximize their online real estate and improve their search engine visibility. Comfortech attendees can pre-register to secure their video time slot.
News from Blue Corona

To celebrate the launch of their video marketing service, Blue Corona will offer free online marketing videos to HVAC companies attending Comfortech 2015 in St. Louis, Mo.

Blue Corona’s video production crew will occupy room 90 (right across from the main exhibit hall) on both Wednesday Sept. 16 and Thursday Sept. 17, offering high production videos that can be shot in less than 15 minutes. Interested companies can pre-register for a video time slot online.

In addition to establishing trust, videos give HVAC companies the opportunity to maximize their online real estate and improve their search engine visibility.

“We have seen the future of web marketing—and it’s got a play button!” said Taylor Herrgott, the head of Blue Corona’s video marketing department. “It’s extremely beneficial for HVAC companies to establish relationships with their current and prospective customers. Those customers are inviting your technicians into their homes—they need to trust you. Video is a great way to start that relationship. It lets customers see and hear directly from you before they even pick up the phone.”

In addition to establishing trust, videos give HVAC companies the opportunity to maximize their online real estate and improve their search engine visibility. As more and more companies invest in online marketing efforts like SEO, the search engine results page gets more and more competitive.

“Search engines prefer to display a variety of results to their users. If everyone else is blogging, only so many blogs will reach the first page. But not as many companies are doing video, so it’s a big opportunity for HVAC companies who want to get ahead,” Herrgott said.

YouTube is the second largest search engine next to Google, with the average person spending approximately 23 minutes a day watching videos online. Web video traffic is expected to rise to 69 percent of all consumer internet traffic by 2017.

“Our clients with videos typically see that visitors spend more time on their websites,” Herrgott added. “Research also shows that half of consumers who watch videos say it helps them make more confident purchasing decisions.”

Blue Corona offers video marketing strategy, along with expert production and video editing, services other online marketing companies typically outsource. Blue Corona President Ben Landers said that by keeping the process in-house, clients can easily offer input and have more control over the results.

“We want to make sure our clients love the videos we produce. Not only does the video have to engage the audience and feature services, but it should also be an accurate representation of the company culture.”
