Angle shared the good news about the new third generation Copeland Scroll, 2-stage compressor lineup, which was also this year's AHR Innovation Award winner in the cooling category.
"It ranges from 1.5 to 10-hp. Now in its 15th year, Emerson Copeland compressors' third generation enhancements improve performance in both part-load and full-load efficiency.
With the 10-horsepower option, any OEMs are looking at this product as an ideal way to address the increased efficiency minimums the Department of Energy put in place for rooftop units as of January 2018," Angle said.
There is also a new modulation control option that can be used in residential comfort applications.
