International Comfort Products Corp. (ICP), Lewisburg, TN, has appointed Halsey Cook as president. Cook will lead marketing, product management, channel development, and sales for the ICP product lines, building on ICP’s brands and channels to strengthen the company’s market position. ICP markets heating and air conditioning equipment under the Arcoaire, Comfortmaker, Heil and Tempstar brands. Cook served most recently as managing director of Toshiba Carrier U.K. He had overall responsibility for integration and operations for the joint venture between Carrier and Toshiba’s air conditioning business, combining all air conditioning business in the U.K. He also served on Carrier’s European management team, with strategic responsibility for Toshiba brand in Europe. Prior to that assignment, he held increasingly responsible sales and marketing roles for Carrier in Europe, including defining strategic and operational marketing developments for the Residential and Light Commercial European business in Europe. He also was responsible for Carrier’s Villasanta, Italy factory export sales team Cook joined Carrier in 1991, after earning his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in Economics and English from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN.
