The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA), Rockville, MD has bestowed STAR qualifications on six commercial contractors, bringing the total number of MSCA STARs to 80.
The MSCA STAR program recognizes contractors who meet or exceed rigorous operating and training standards set by MSCA.
To become a STAR contractor, companies must complete a detailed application covering a wide range of criteria, including maintaining a superior safety record, offering outstanding customer service, and focusing on continuing education and training for all employees. In addition, at least 25% of the contractor’s technicians must be UA STAR certified, to ensure they employ a trained and qualified workforce.
The six new MSCA STARs are:
Binsky and Snyder Service, LLC – Piscataway, NJ
Fred Williams, Inc. – Weymouth, MA
Hill York Service Corporation (Broward branch) – Fort Lauderdale, FL
John J. Kirlin, LLC – Rockville, MD
Padgett Group – Canton, GA
Scobell Company, Inc. – Erie, PA
“Many contractors claim they provide excellent customer service or have a highly trained workforce. Only MSCA STAR contractors have the independently verified proof to substantiate their position as an industry-wide leader in many critical areas to give their customers peace of mind that they are hiring the best,” says Barbara Dolim, Executive Director of MSCA.
The MSCA STAR program is independently verified by the National Inspection, Testing and Certification Corporation (NITC), an ISO 9001 and ANSI-accredited certifying organization.
For more information about MSCA STAR and its benefits to the building owner, visit www.mscastar.org or contact Barbara Dolim at [email protected].
