“On behalf of Governor Edward G. Rendell, I am pleased to say that working with CLARCOR to make this project a reality is just one example of the success the Commonwealth has had in recruiting new business and industry to Northeast Pennsylvania. We welcome Clarcor as a new tenant to Pittston, bringing great jobs and new opportunities to our region,” says Yokimishyn.
The 249,600-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility employs 25 and anticipates employing 100 over the next six months.
The company is leasing the facility from First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., one of the nation’s largest providers of diversified industrial real estate.
“We are delighted to welcome CLARCOR, Inc. to the greater Pittston area," says Mareen Mangan Mills, president, The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce. "The fact that such a large international company like CLARCOR has chosen to lease space in the Grimes Industrial Park is a real testament to the quality of the region’s workforce and location for business.”
