Habegger's Joe Rettig to Retire in July

R. Joseph Rettig, residential sales manager for the Habegger Corporation, Cincinnati, OH – Carrier division, will be retiring at the end of July, 2009.

R. Joseph Rettig, residential sales manager for the Habegger Corporation, Cincinnati, OH – Carrier division, will be retiring at the end of July, 2009.

The Habegger Corporation is the Carrier Heating and Air Conditioning Distributor for Western Ohio, Northern Kentucky and South Eastern Indiana.

Rettig was named Habegger's residential sales manager in 1991. Prior to that appointment, he worked for more than 16 years at the Williamson Company, an HVAC manufacturer. He joined Williamson as a territory manager in Columbia, MO, and later was its markeing manager in Cincinnati, OH. He also served as the general sales manager for Industrial Air, a manufacturer of industrial air movement devices, which is today a part of Tompkins Industries.

Prior to joining the HVAC Industry, Rettig taught electronics at ITT Technical Institute in Evansville, IN. During his career, Rettig earned an associate degree in electronic engineering technology. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a microwave station commander.

Rettig earned a BS degree in marketing from the University of Evansville, IN, and a MBA in marketing from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
