Carrier Corporation has announced its Carrier Distinguished Dealer (CDD) award recipients for 2004. Carrier says the dealerships recognized exemplify the company’s model for operational excellence, business effectiveness, and outstanding performance.
This year’s dealerships were selected from a field of more than 35 nominees and nearly 5,000 dealers. They are:
- Bel-O Sales and Service Inc., Belleville, IL
- Perry’s Refrigeration Inc., Lima, OH
- R.H. Witt Heating, Glenview, IL
These dealerships join 75 other dealerships that have been recognized as Carrier Distinguished Dealers since 1994.
In line with the Carrier brand strategy, the CDD selection criteria for 2004 focused on leadership, management, customer knowledge, brand recognition, industry expertise, and operational excellence.
David Meyers, vice president of sales, Carrier North America Residential, says that the primary purpose of the CDD program is to provide all Carrier dealers with an assessment process by which they can evaluate their business operation and identify improvement opportunities.
"While the CDD process culminates in the recognition of a small number of dealers whose business practices deserve special recognition, it’s vital to note that the larger scope is to benefit dealers in the majority who are interested in developing and growing their operations," Meyers says.
