Minco, a designer and manufacturer of critical components for critical applications, has announced the appointment of Mr. David J. Ring to the role of president.
“Dave's depth of experience and energy will benefit Minco. He has a strong track record of success, helping to grow high-tech companies in a variety of demanding markets. Dave also has extensive international experience and a history of managing privately-held businesses,” says Mr. Dana Schurr, Minco’s CEO. “I’m very excited to be joining the Minco team as they have a strong track record of consistent growth over time and a deep commitment to the markets they serve,” said Mr. Ring. “Additionally, the company is well positioned to leverage its current market position via international expansion, both from a market and facilities perspective.”
Prior to joining Minco, Mr. Ring was the founder, President and CEO of ReVera, a California company that designs and manufactures high-precision metrology equipment used to monitor and measure semiconductor devices. Prior to his time at ReVera, Mr. Ring was the President and CEO of Physical Electronics and before that, he spent many years at Entegris; a Minnesota company that serves high technology markets by purifying, protecting and transporting critical materials used in manufacture of semiconductors, data storage, fuel cells and other electronic products.
Minco's product line includes HVACR sensors and transmitters.
