Taco, Inc. has announced a price increase on all of its residential circulators, to be effective March 15, 2006, averaging four percent. The price increase involves all Taco “00” circulators, including priority zoning, IFC, LoadMatch™ and radiant application circulators.
“This price increase is necessitated by the rise in commodity prices” explains Taco president John Hazen White, Jr., “especially for copper, bronze and steel, as well as increased energy prices that are affecting all manufacturers today. We are trying our best to keep these increases to a minimum by focusing on improvements in circulator technology and manufacturing efficiency. However, we owe it to our customers to be bold, responsible and remain a strong and responsive supplier rather than weakening ourselves by continuing to absorb commodity and energy cost increases.”
