Western Nevada Supply Opens New Training Center

Western Nevada Supply Co., a distributor of Rehau products, has opened a new state-of-the-art HVAC training center at the Truckee Meadows Community College Technical Institute, located in Reno, NV. The training center is equipped with a full line of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, boilers and air conditioners. Because the facility is fully functional, contractors can gain hands-on experience while learning how to operate and troubleshoot the equipment. “We’re showing off every accessory that’s available in the hydronic heating market, from towel warmers to baseboard to radiant floor heating,” says Mark Trujillo, Western Nevada Supply HVAC manager. Training session topics include boiler startups, troubleshooting boiler systems, and hydronic controls. In-depth coverage of the Rehau radiant floor heating system and RFH WarmSource design software is also provided.
