Heatcraft, Global Tier Partner for Remote Product

Sept. 17, 2009
Allows facility operators the advantage of reducing excess energy use

Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration has announced a strategic partnership with Global Tier, a leading provider of information technology and data management solutions.

The two companies will launch a Web-based monitoring and diagnostic system for commercial refrigeration systems in food service and cold storage applications. The system will provide real-time reports and instant notifications about commercial refrigeration system performance for single- or multiple-site operations via the nearest Web browser or mobile device.

Benefits of the service include allowing facility operators the measurable advantage of reducing excess energy use, remote servicing, improving cold storage product quality and inventory preservation — thus increasing overall profitability. It will also help customers adhere to regulatory rulings and streamline the process of required administrative tracking and logging.

Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration plans to unveil this new remote diagnostic monitoring capability powered by Global Tier within the following weeks. The service will enable customers to clearly understand the direct relationship of their energy usage and its connection to the bottom line.
