All four are refrigeration and air conditioning industry veterans and will strengthen the marketing, sales, procurement and engineering teams for Tecumseh’s recently-formed North America region.

Fordeck returns to Tecumseh following four years as Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Revcor Inc. Prior to that, he worked in key sales, marketing and technical roles at Invensys, Tecumseh and Emerson.

Gifford will report to Fordeck and concentrate on product development, business unit growth and market intelligence. He has served in various marketing leadership roles for Tecumseh since 2008, having worked prior to that in key positions with Johnson Controls and Alfa Laval.

Strunk moves into his expanded role following a stint as U.S. Director of Procurement and will also report to Merritt. He joined Tecumseh in 2005, having previously worked in leadership roles with Electrolux and Steelcase.

Hawkes will report to Rafael Castillo, Director of Engineering, North America and lead research/development and design efforts for condensing units and refrigeration systems. Hawkes recently worked for Danfoss/Scroll Technologies. He has 15 years prior experience in engineering and management roles with Tecumseh and nine-years with Johnson Controls and Carrier Corporation.

“All of these gentlemen possess the industry experience and leadership to help us drive profitable growth in North America,” Merritt says.
