nternational Comfort Products, LLC (“ICP”), a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), recently rewarded its outstanding dealers for their participation in ICP marketing programs with a choice between a Ford truck or cash.
The winners of the Explorer Challenge were determined by the number of points they earned from participating in designated ICP marketing programs, such as HELP® (Homeowners Extended Labor Program), consumer financing, training, advertising, dealer promotions, advertising, yellow pages, the dealer website program, brand signage, uniforms, service stickers, customized dealer flyers and dealer newsletter subscriptions. Points were also awarded for the number of years dealers have been selling ICP products.
Award winners of the Explorer Challenge received a choice of either a Ford truck or cash. Winners include:
• 1st Prize: Winner of $20,000, Nelson Bothers in Cincinnati, Ohio buys Tempstar brand products from Corken Steel Products Company.
• 2nd Prize: Winner of a 2005 Ford F150 pickup truck, Boelcke Heating and Air Conditioning in Stevensville, Michigan buys Heil brand products from Comfort Control Johnstone Supply.
• 3rd Prize: Winner of a 2005 Ford Ranger pickup truck, Carolina Comfort in Irmo, South Carolina, buys Heil brand products from Gateway Supply.
J.T. Holtschlag, ICP national sales manager, said these dealers are winners in two ways; they were able to increase their own sales and profits and they won a reward for their hard work and dedication to promoting their brand in their local market.
“These dealers have shown their commitment to constant improvement, and a drive for success that continues to achieve positive results for both their own businesses and ICP," Holtschlag said. "It is an honor to reward these dealers for their outstanding work in excellent customer care, marketing success and dedication to promoting quality products and performance."
