CertainTeed ToughGard2 Textile Duct Liner, Type 300, has been specified to insulate the interior of the HVAC sheet metal ductwork for the new home of the Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium, scheduled for completion in Fall 2008.
The product was specified by the project’s HVAC engineer, Moore Engineers, Indianapolis, IN, based largely on noise reduction concerns.
If sheet metal ductwork is used, especially in commercial projects, it’s vital to include a quality fiber glass duct liner to minimize system noise, says Timothy V. Moore, P.E., President of Moore Engineers.
