Colmac Now Builds ASME-Approved U-stamped Coils
Sources from Colmac Coil Midwest, Paxton, IL, say it is now capable of building certified 'U'-stamped coils that meet the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII/Div. 1 code requirements.

ASME 'U'-stamped coils are available for a broad range of industries and applications, including power generation, pulp and paper, commercial HVAC coils, industrial process coils, and compressed gas coolers and condensers. A broad range of fin, tube, and casing materials and sizes are available for construction on 'U' -stamped coils.

Keep an Eye on Jackson Systems, Says Development Corporation
Jackson Systems, LLC, Indianapolis, IN, a direct-to-contractor zone control manufacturer and distributor, has been recognized as one of the 2011 Indiana Companies to Watch, according to an awards program by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, its Small Business Development Center network, Purdue University, and the Edward Lowe Foundation.

Tridium / 3eTI Sharing Technology

By centrally monitoring these high-energy consuming systems and leveraging a secure wireless network, customers can increase their energy efficiently at less cost.

LG Website Designed with User in Mind; Provides VRF Solutions
LG Electronics' Commercial Air Conditioning announces its new website — — dedicated to its Variable Refrigerant Flow technology. Designed to be a more user friendly guide for planning and implementing VRF HVAC solutions, the site uses advanced returning-user recognition technology, also called "fuzzy logic," to customize content and improve information finding capabilities.

Upon entering the site, visitors are prompted to answer questions, such as "Who are you?" and "What are you working on?" that will direct them to useful information specific to their needs. Preferences are saved on the website, allowing returning visitors to efficiently locate relevant information.

Other new website features include:

  • A rep locator with integrated Google maps directing visitors to an LG rep anywhere in the US.
  • An organized database of technical literature
  • Specialized tools and software, including BIM/REVIT programs and 2D CAD models
