The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will offer a full-slate of learning opportunities at MCAA 2004—Experience the Experience, which will take place February 29¯March 4, 2004, at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL. Focused on leadership development and designed primarily for the principals of member companies, MCAA’s convention will include solutions-oriented workshops, inspirational major session speakers, current affairs experts, and the Manufacturer/Supplier Council annual exhibit.

Solutions-oriented workshops will present management and leadership information, as well as topics more closely tied to the mechanical construction and service industry. These will include improving productivity, controlling costs, managing employees more effectively, and dealing with indoor air quality concerns.

The inspirational major session speakers will include former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Senator Bob Dole, celebrated Irish tenor and physician Dr. Ronan Tynan, and Frank Abagnale, whose story was told in the film Catch Me if You Can. Each will share his unique story.

The notable group of current affairs speakers will include General Barry R. McCaffrey, national security and terrorism analyst for NBC News; Dr. Bob Arnot, an NBC special foreign correspondent; and, Michael Beschloss, who has been called “the nation’s leading presidential historian” by Newsweek magazine.

Members of MCAA’s Manufacturer/Supplier Council will showcase the latest innovations and productivity-enhancing products and services during their annual exhibit. In addition, peer-to-peer networking opportunities will abound.
