ACCA's Todd Washam to Join EPA

Washam will be EPA director of house relations.

Todd Washam, vice president of public policy and industry relations for  Air Conditioning Contractors of America is leaving ACCA for a position within the US Environmental Protection Agency. 

Washam will be joining join administrator Andrew R Wheeler’s team in the EPA’s office of congressional affairs on May 4.

Washam has been with ACCA since 2016, serving as vice president of public policy and industry relations since May 2019. In his new role he will be serving as the director of house relations and will be charged with leading the agency’s interactions with members of the House of Representatives. 

“ACCA is excited for Todd to join the Trump Administration and use his talents and relationships to make a difference for the American people and build stronger working relationships between EPA, Congress, and the White House,” said ACCA president and CEO Barton James.

We are pleased he will take that strong understanding of the importance of HVACR contractors, as the federal government works on policies that will impact the HVACR industry and consumers.”
